BLESSED HOPE CHURCH

Our Mission
Statement

To Live, Learn, and Love of God’s Transformative Grace

At Blessed Hope UMC, we strive to be a welcoming and compassionate presence in our West Allis community. Through worship, music, service, and care, we help people grow in faith and discover their purpose in Christ.

OUR EVENTS

Fellowship and Events
With Us

We gather every Sunday after service to connect, share our weekly experiences, and strengthen our church community. On Monday mornings, a dedicated group meets to explore the Bible readings for the coming Sunday. There are also other events throughout the week, so keep reading to find the perfect way to get involved.

CHURCH GROUPS

Groups And More

Bible Study

At Blessed Hope Church, we periodically host engaging Bible studies throughout the year, exploring key chapters of the Bible and faith-based books by authors like Max Lucado. Whether you’re new to studying Scripture or looking to deepen your understanding, these sessions offer a supportive environment to grow spiritually, share insights, and strengthen your faith in a welcoming community. Join us to experience the transformative power of God’s Word together.

Volunteers

While there are ecumenical groups like the Bell Choir, Chancel Choir, Finance Committee, United Women in Faith, and UM Men, we also offer community-focused opportunities. Volunteers help landscape our grounds and keep the church clean and decorated throughout the seasons, and our Knitters and Crocheters group works on meaningful projects together.

Many people find that the more they participate in these groups or volunteer activities, the more fulfilled they feel in their faith journey. We provide a monthly calendar with meeting times, so please contact our office for more information.

THOUGHTS FROM SOME OF OUR MEMBERS

What Our Members Say

“I’ve been a member for over 20 years, and what keeps me here is the kindness of the people. When I was recovering from surgery, the church surrounded me with prayers, cards, and offers to help. This is a church that truly shows up for each other.”

“I’ve been part of this church since the late ’60s. It’s where I grew up, raised my family, and made lifelong friendships. We may be small, but the heart of this church is big—and you feel it as soon as you walk through the door.”

“My husband and I visited in 2001 and were greeted so warmly, we never left. After just one visit, a greeter remembered our names weeks later. That personal touch is still alive today—Blessed Hope is truly a welcoming place.”

Finding Light in November: A Season of Reflection and Gratitude

As we shift from October to November, the air grows crisper. The sun slips away earlier each evening. The world outside starts to slow down, preparing for winter’s rest. In our busy lives, this quieting can feel sudden or even uncomfortable. But spiritually, it’s an invitation to slow down, look inward, and tend to the…
